Most likely. Our mobile catering setup allows us to cater at wedding venues, private properties, workplaces and event spaces across Hawke’s Bay. We’ll chat with you about access, available space, power, water and any venue requirements beforehand so we can arrive ready to get cooking.

7. DOES EVERYTHING HAVE TO BE COOKED OVER FIRE?

No, but live-fire and spit-roast cooking are a big part of what makes Silence of the Lambs Catering different. Hannibal I & II, our custom-built spits, might steal the show, but our menus go well beyond the fire. We also create salads, sides, canapés and all the good stuff that turns the main event into a proper feast.

8. WHAT’S INCLUDED IN THE CATERING PRICE?

Every event is different, so we’ll provide a tailored catering quote based on your menu, guest numbers, venue and service requirements. Depending on your package, this may include food preparation, cooking, catering equipment, setup, service and clearing. Your quote will clearly outline what’s included before you book.

9. HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD WE BOOK?

We recommend booking your Hawke’s Bay wedding or event catering as early as possible, particularly for summer weekends, weddings and popular event dates. Planning something at shorter notice? It’s still worth getting in touch. If we have availability and can make it work, we will.
